Although the forum is accessible by both members and the general public, members should always log in first.

 1. Click on the link entitled "Forum", under the CDAA Community header in the left-hand column.

2. The forum has several categories. These are:

•  Announcements
• Genealogy and Douglas Family Tree Research
• Douglas Septs
• Genetics (General, yDna Project)
• Site Issues (Suggestions, Technical Issues)

3.  Click on the category or subcategory of your choice

4. Click on "New Thread" (aka post new topic)

5. Enter the title of your comment or question

6. Enter the body of your comment or question

7. Use emoticons if so desired (these are the little faces that express the tone of your comment - Emotion-Icons)

8. If you need to, add a file or an image by using the buttons provided.

9. Click on Submit

10 Voila you have posted a new forum topic.
